Banu formerly heads the Asset Management and Retail Division of Mubarak and Brother Investment Company.
She is responsible for the management of multiple assets and / or operating companies. Her main role is supporting asset management senior leadership with strategic direction, analytic and due diligence to allow visibility into key business plans and initiatives. Maximizing returns on the investments and portfolio of assets and ensure the highest best use of the assets .

Analyzing and planning is her lead role in the company which include market researches, development plans, redevelopment ideas, co- develop strategy with the company’s executive management team and drive execution to meet the monetization strategy for the asset(s).
She is also the General Manager of Deerfields Townsquare Shopping Center ,a community retail environment of 80, 000 square meters of Gross Leasable Area ( GLA ) which accommodates approximately 180 retailers . A vibrant mixed-use development which primarily serve the Abu Dhabi community, especially new satellite cities within the vicinity “for family quality time” throughout the year, located in Al Bahia , Abu Dhabi UAE
She formerly heads the Property Division of Abu Dhabi based Al Fahim Group. She has been in the UAE and working with the Group for 14 years. Banu is responsible from the best use of the land bank, development advise, leasing , property management and Facilities Management the well known Group’s portfolio, inclusive of residential, commercial, retail and industrial Real Estate in the UAE .
Prior to her career in Real Estate Industry, Banu worked in Banking Sector, as a Corporate Banker for 9 years in Istanbul and Moscow.
Banu has a BSC Degree in Economics from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara and Masters in International Management from Istanbul University, Istanbul.
